🥃 About the Rye
The whiskey used in Whiskey Wake-Up is Sextro Rye, a prohibition-era family recipe made with 100% rye, cane sugar, yeast, and water. Distilled in small 3-gallon batches and aged in 15-gallon barrels, it reflects traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Made with real rye whiskey. Alcohol is fully removed during roasting.

Brewing Instructions
Grind Size: Medium-fine, similar to table salt
Coffee-to-Water Ratio: 1:16 (e.g., 20g coffee to 320ml water)
Water Temperature: 195-205°F (90-96°C)
Brew Time: 3-4 minutes
Steps
- Rinse your filter with hot water
- Add ground coffee and create a small well in the center
- Start timer and pour twice the amount of water as coffee
- Wait 30-45 seconds for the bloom
- Pour remaining water in slow, circular motions
- Enjoy your perfectly brewed coffee!

Best if you have your own grinder. This gives you the freshest flavor and full control over how you brew.

Ideal for pour-over cones and Aeropress (short brew time). Has a texture like table salt—fast extraction and bold flavor.

Best for Cold Brew or French Press. Chunky, sea salt-like texture that prevents over-extraction during long brews.
