Product Claims & Language Policy

Purpose & Scope

This policy explains how Self Rez Coffee Company LLC, also doing business as Self Revive Coffee Roasters (together, "Self Rez Coffee"), describes its products, ingredients, sourcing, and added components. It reflects our commitment to accuracy and to compliance with applicable federal and state requirements, including those administered by the FDA, FTC, USDA, and the Georgia Department of Agriculture.

Organic & Certification Claims

Coffee is a natural agricultural product; however, "organic" is a regulated certification under the USDA National Organic Program.

Unless a specific product is explicitly labeled as USDA-certified organic, Self Rez Coffee does not market, represent, or advertise its coffees as certified organic.

Some individual ingredients we purchase — including certain green coffees and flavorings — may carry USDA organic certification from their producers. Any reference to "organic" in our materials applies only to those specific ingredients as sourced, and is not a certification claim about the finished product.

Self Rez Coffee does not use the USDA Organic seal.

Ingredient-Level Language

Phrases such as "made with," "crafted with," "includes," or "uses" describe individual ingredients only. They do not imply that the finished product is certified organic or meets any certification standard unless explicitly stated.

Product Labeling & Added Ingredients

Some products contain added food-grade ingredients, such as minerals or amino acids. These ingredients are identified on each product's label and product page, in the quantities stated there.

Each product is labeled in accordance with the FDA labeling format applicable to it, and the label on each package governs. Added ingredients are included at food-safe levels. Our products are made to be brewed and enjoyed as coffee.

Caffeine & Strength Descriptions

Caffeine content in brewed coffee varies naturally with bean composition, grind, and brewing method. Descriptions such as "strong," "high-caffeine," or "our strongest blend" are qualitative comparisons within our own lineup. We do not publish specific milligram caffeine values unless supported by product-specific analysis, and no such values are currently published.

Declared Nutrient & Ingredient Values

Where a label declares specific amounts of added ingredients, those values are determined from product formulation and ingredient specifications and are controlled through batch records. Serving-based values assume the preparation stated on the label.

Wellness-Related Statements

Self Rez Coffee does not make medical, therapeutic, disease-related, or drug claims about any product. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Descriptive references to energy or alertness reflect the well-known effects of caffeine, which our products contain naturally. Statements regarding added ingredients are limited to identifying the ingredient and its amount. Where any statement could be read as relating to general wellness, it is accompanied by the required FDA disclaimer. Individual experiences vary.

Alcohol-Derived Flavorings

Certain products use distilled spirits as a flavoring, applied to green coffee before roasting. Roasting temperatures far exceed the boiling point of alcohol, and finished products are sold as non-alcoholic coffee. Where a spirit is used, it is disclosed on the product page.

Origin & Sourcing

Green coffee is grown in its countries of origin and purchased through established importers. All roasting occurs at our facility in Columbus, Georgia. We describe our coffee as "roasted in Columbus, Georgia" and do not make unqualified "Made in USA" claims for coffee products. Sourcing descriptions reflect documentation provided by our suppliers and importers.

Environmental & Sustainability Claims

We do not make environmental or sustainability marketing claims — including recyclability, compostability, or environmental benefit claims — unless supported by documentation from our suppliers sufficient to substantiate the specific claim.

Charitable Giving

Where a product supports a partner organization, our materials identify the specific organization. The nature and terms of that support are stated on the applicable product page. Partner-related figures are reviewed with our partners and updated as needed.

Ownership Claims

Self Rez Coffee is owned and operated by a U.S. Army veteran. "Veteran-owned" statements in our materials are statements of fact about company ownership.

Third-Party Statements

Self Rez Coffee is responsible for its own official communications, packaging, and marketing. Statements by third parties — including retailers, wholesale accounts, affiliates, content creators, and customers — do not necessarily reflect our representations. Program participants are provided brand guidelines and are asked not to describe our products as organic, certified, or in terms this policy does not support. When we become aware of inaccurate third-party descriptions, we take reasonable steps to request correction.

Corrections

If any language or representation is found to be unclear, inaccurate, or misleading, we will take reasonable and timely steps to clarify or correct it.
