Roasted: In-house by Self Revive Coffee Roasters

Dark roasts are crafted for bold flavor, low acidity, and a heavier body. They perform best with slightly lower temperatures and balanced ratios to avoid bitterness while keeping the cup rich and smooth.

☕ Drip / Pour-Over (Recommended)

  • Ratio: 1:16

    (20–22 g coffee → 12 oz water)
  • Grind: Medium
  • Water Temp: 195–198°F
  • Result: Bold, smooth cup with deep roast character and minimal bite.

🫖 French Press (Best for Body)

  • Ratio: 1:15
  • Grind: Coarse
  • Steep Time: 4–5 minutes
  • Result: Full-bodied, rich mouthfeel with smoky, chocolate-forward notes.

❄️ Cold Brew

  • Ratio: 1:12
  • Grind: coarse
  • Brew Time: 14–18 hours (cold)
  • Result: Very smooth, low-acid concentrate with natural sweetness and heavy body.

⚡ Espresso & Moka Pot

  • Dose: 18–20 g in / 34–38 g out
  • Grind: Fine (slightly coarser than light roasts)
  • Shot Time: 22–28 seconds
  • Result: Strong, intense shot with deep roast flavor — excellent with milk.

Final Notes

Dark roasts shine when brewed slightly cooler and a touch lighter than lighter coffees. If bitterness shows up, reduce temperature or dose before adjusting grind.

Bold. Smooth. No nonsense.
