High in the highlands, farmers hand-pick cherries grown in volcanic soil beneath a tropical canopy. These beans soak up the island's mystique — the spice of its forests, the warmth of its people, and the depth of its seasons. Traditional wet-hulling gives this Sumatra its signature earthy flavor and full-bodied texture.
